International Conference on Analysis, the 16th Romanian-Finnish Seminar
June 24-27, 2025, Alba Iulia, Romania
Within the tradition of the collaboration between the Romanian and Finnish mathematicians, initiated by Rolf Nevanlinna (1895-1980) and Simion Stoilow (1887-1961), a Conference on Analysis, the 16th Romanian-Finnish Seminar (RoFinSem), will take place in Alba-Iulia, Romania, June 24-27, 2025. The first edition of the RoFinSem was held in Braşov (Romania) in 1969 and the last one in Turku (Finland) in 2019. The proceedings of the 15th Romanian-Finnish Seminar was published as a special issue of the journal Mathematical Reports (vol. 23 (73), No. 1-2, 2021). For past editions of RoFinSem see https://analysisconference.utu.fi/?page_id=129
The meeting is organized by Simion Stoilow Institute of Mathematics of the Romanian Academy, "1 Decembrie 1918" University of Alba Iulia, and the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science of the University of Bucharest.
Organizing committee: Lucian Beznea (Bucharest, co-chair), Cezar Joița (Bucharest, co-chair), Peter Hasto (Helsinki), Mirela Kohr (Cluj-Napoca), Ionel Popescu (Bucharest), Matti Vuorinen (Turku), Aurelian Gheondea (Bucarest), Daniel Breaz (Alba Iulia, local organizer)
The program is divided into sections as follows:
1. Geometric function theory and classical complex analysis;
2. Quasiconformal mappings, metric geometry and related topics in classical analysis;
3. Potential analysis, PDEs and stochastics;
4. Complex geometry, dynamics, functional analytical methods in complex analysis.
5. Computational methods in geometric function theory, potential theory, and related fields
We ask those interested in participating to register on this webpage.
