Hello! I'm Aaron J. Rodriguez.
Thank you for checking out my page. I am currently the Fifth Grade Academic Support Interventionalist at Woodbridge Lafayette School #25, where I collaborate with classroom teachers to support students with diverse needs. My journey in education began three years ago as a substitute teacher at the same school, where I developed a deep passion for teaching K-5 students.
I earned my bachelor’s degree from Kean University with a GPA of 3.8 and am now working towards my Master’s in School Counseling at NJCU, aiming also for an LPC certification. I am excited to pursue opportunities where I can contribute innovative ideas and help drive the future success of the Lafayette school 25 family.
Philosophy of Education
My educational philosophy is rooted in the belief that every student has incredible potential. I focus on creating an inclusive classroom where every student's unique qualities are valued. I prioritize student-centered learning, adjusting my teaching methods to meet the different learning styles and needs of my students. To me, education is more than just grades—it's about developing critical thinking, encouraging creativity, and supporting students' social and emotional growth. I see teaching as a collaborative journey that equips students with the knowledge and skills to become responsible, empathetic, and active members of their community. Teamwork, cooperation, and community involvement are key to achieving this vision.
About Me
Outside of work, I’m someone who enjoys staying active, creative, and focused on personal growth. You’ll usually find me at the gym, working toward new fitness goals or pushing myself to improve each day. I have a strong passion for 3D printing and design—it’s a creative outlet that allows me to bring ideas to life, from custom pieces to detailed models.
I enjoy learning about psychology, leadership, and human behavior, and I’m always looking for ways to better understand how people think and grow. I also serve with a nonprofit organization and attend church regularly, which keeps me grounded in community and purpose.
At the end of the day, I value discipline, creativity, and continuous learning—striving to grow a little more each day and to find meaning in everything I pursue.
