Hello, I am Rodrigo De Pool. I am currently a Society of Science Fellow at University of Notre Dame du Lac under the mentorship of Andrew Putman and Nick Salter. Before that, I was a predoctoral researcher at Instituto de Ciencias Matemáticas (ICMAT-CSIC) under the supervision of Javier Aramayona, and received my math PhD from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.
My research lies in the intersection of geometry, topology and group theory. The main objects I investigate are mapping class groups of Riemann surfaces and fine moduli spaces. I'm also interested in the general structure of algebro-geometric groups such as braid groups, surface groups, free groups and the like.
