I am a queer first-generation Chicano journalist from Chicago's south side. I’m a DePaul senior majoring in journalism with a minor in history. I work for La DePaulia, a Spanish language student newspaper. I’m a bilingual transfer student who currently resides on the Northwest side of Chicago. I am a social justice journalist with a focus on Latino stories like immigration and labor rights. My reporting focuses on black and brown neighborhoods often overlooked in legacy media. I educate the public about the most marginalized people through humanistic storytelling and empathy.
