I'm currently a Post-doc at the Institute of the Mathematical Sciences of the Americas (IMSA) in Miami in the group of L. Katzarkov. Previously, I was also at the International Center for Mathematical Sciences (ICMS) in Sofia. 

 Before, I was in Grenoble where I did my Ph.D. under the supervision of P. Eyssidieux.  

I'm interested in the topology of algebraic varieties, in particular:

•  Homology planes and its connections with low-dimensional topology, 

• Extending the proofs of the Shafarevich conjecture about holomorphic convexity of the universal cover to normal and/or quasi-projective varieties.

• Recently, I got interested in Torelli theorems for anti-canonical manifolds.
