Currently on the job market: I will be looking for permanent academic positions for the 2027/2028 academic year. Please feel free to reach out if your department has openings in algebraic geometry or topology!
Postdoctoral researcher at CIMAT (Mexico), supported by the SECIHTI program, in the group of Christian Garay
Previously: IMSA-Miami (with Ludmil Katzarkov), ICMS-Sofia, and Université Grenoble Alpes (PhD with Phillipe Eyssidieux).
My research lies at the interface of Hodge theory, algebraic geometry, and the topology of algebraic varieties. In recent years, I have been developing what could be called the relative Clemens program, centered on relative versions of Clemens-type ideas involving rational curves, deformation theory, and conifold-type transitions.
Current interests include:
Relative Clemens program and log conifold transitions
Hodge theory of pairs and infinitesimal methods
Geometry of universal coverings and Shafarevich-type problems
Log Calabi–Yau and Fano geometry
