"A pragmatic tech enthusiast"
This is my personal tech Google Sites page where I share technology information & resources with family and friends. Did you know that the word Technology actually comes from an ancient Greek Word? Tekhne (Art/Craft) Logia (Logic/Study)? Therefore it can be said that technology is actually the logical study of the art/craft! The acronym IT means "Industry Technology". It's a means by which scientific knowledge is applied to solve practical real word problems using human ingenuity and material resources. I hope that you find something interesting here that will hopefully be beneficial to you. Thanks for stopping by. Bookmark me for future reference! In the video pictured above is the best laptop I've ever purchased for under $200. This laptop comes with an AMD Quad Core E2 7110 CPU and 4 GB of DD3 RAM. It also comes with a 32 GB E.M.M.C drive. I was able to upgrade it by adding an internal 128 GB S.S.D drive in addition to the E.M.M.C drive that came with it. RAM can be upgraded as well to 16 GB max. I upgraded mine to 16 GB DDR3 1600 RAM pairing two 8GB sticks. I'm currently running Windows 10 Home (64 Bit) as the OS of choice. The screen is a full HD one running at 1920 X 1080p resolution. Try to grab one while you still can on E-Bay or Amazon. Make sure that it is "exactly" this model (HP Notebook - 14-an013nr) because the other ones don't have the full HD screen. In the video pictured below is the best laptop I've ever purchased for under $400. I purchased the below laptop from the Micro Center for only $398 which included the tax! This new HP 16-AG0019AU (Pavilion) has now replaced my old HP 14 an013nr which I raved about before. HP apparently has done it again by making an excellent laptop at an affordable price! Watch the entire video for the specs breakdown as well as the performance!
I finally decided to replace my aged InWin Chopin HTPC with a 2024 Mac-Mini HTPC equipped with a M4 CPU, 16 GB RAM with 256 GB of internal NVME HD storage. I also have the 2023 Mac-Mini HTPC equipped with a M2 CPU, 16 GB RAM and a 256 GB internal drive. I added an additional 256 GB NVME dive space, 256 GB USB drive, 128 GB USB drive space. These little guys serve as both my HTPC's and video editing work stations. It's awesome to be able to easily port video & pictures directly from my i-Phone 15 Pro to these little Macs for professional editing! I have one connected to a 75" 1080p HD TV. I have the other connected to a 55" HD TV. These computers are just simply phenominal! They are the best desktop bang for your buck out there by far.
