Our Caller

David and Marlene have been the callers for Rockyview Ramblers since 2009. David can call basic, mainstream, plus and cue up to phase two rounds. He has attended 5 callers school to enhance his calling/teaching technics.

Started dancing in 1971 in Edmonton. And has called at numerous conventions and been co programmer for 4 of them.

David has called in Olds, Nanton, Red Deer, Rocky Mountain House. He is  still doing guest calling at those clubs except Nanton as they folded up. David is  also the back up callers for all the clubs in Calgary Area. He belongs  to the Calgary, Central, and the Alberta Callers Association.

 For all the work they have done for square dancing community, in 2015 David and his wife Marlene received the Alberta Rose Award!
