We are a local badminton academy dedicated to providing high-quality sport programming to the City of Airdrie and surrounding communities in Rocky View County. Our mission is to promote the sport of badminton in the area while offering lessons for all age groups and skill levels. Whether you're a beginner or an advanced player, we are committed to helping you improve your skills, foster a love for the game, and build a strong badminton community. Rishav Sharma
Rishav Sharma
(Head Coach)
Coach Rishav Sharma is an accomplished international para-badminton athlete and a BWF Level 1 certified badminton coach with over a decade of experience in the sport. His journey in badminton has taken him from competing at the global level, where he reached his highest world rank of 13, to mentoring aspiring athletes. The sport has become a fundamental part of his life. Rishav’s technical expertise, honed through years of competition, is complemented by a deep sense of discipline and perseverance. As a coach, he is dedicated to creating a positive and supportive environment where his students can unlock their full potential. With a balance of personal competition and coaching responsibilities, Rishav strives to inspire others and make a lasting impact on the badminton community.

India 2011 - 2014 - National Champion in Junior Para - Badminton National Games. (Banglore, Orissa and Chennai)
April 2017 in Prince George, BC Won Gold Medal in Under 23 at Northern Circuit Badminton Tournament.
October, 2017 Represented Canada & won Bronze Medal in the USA International Para-Badminton Tournament (Colorado springs)
April 2018 in Prince George, BC Won Gold Medal in Men's singles, Men doubles & Mixed doubles at the Northern Circuit Badminton Tournament
February 2018 Represented Zone 8 Badminton Team at the Kamloops BC Winter games as Assistant Coach.
September 2018 Represented Canada in Japan Para-Badminton international tournament (Tokyo).
May 2019 Represented Canada in Canada Para-Badminton international tournament (Ottawa)
February 2020 Represented Zone 8 Badminton Team at the Fort St. John BC Winter games as Assistant Coach.
April 2022 Represented Canada in Brazil Para - Badminton International series, Sao Paulo, Brazil
October 2022 Represented Canada in BWF Para-Badminton world championship, Tokyo Japan.
March 2023 Represented Zone 8 Badminton Team at the Vernon BC Winter games as Head Coach.
October 2024 Won Bronze medal in 2024 Japan Para-Badminton International, Tokyo Japan
December 2024 BWF Level 1 coaching certification, Hangzhou China
March 2025 Won Bronze medal in 2025 Spanish Para-Badminton International, VitoriaGastez Spain
August 2025 Won Silver medal in 2025 Peru Para-Badminton International, Lima Peru
October 2025 Double Gold medal in Singles and Doubles at the 2025 Para Pan-Am Badminton Championship, Sao Paulo, Brazil
