2026 meetings

• Wednesday, May 13, 6-8pm. Dinner program at Del Friscos Double Eagle Steakhouse. Michele Ritter, NP, MSL presented on the newly approved thrapy for peds patients with high-risk neuroblastoma: IWILFIN/DFMO (eflornithine) tablets . Peter Tsai from US WorldMeds hosted. 

• Tuesday February 24, 2026, 6:30-8pm. Annual Business Meeting from 6:30-7:00pm and then an educational presentation by Jen Lamb, MSN, RN, CPHON from the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at CHCO to present on photobiomodulation (PBM), otherwise known as red-light therapy.

• Bleeding and Brews: 8/12/25, 6-8pm. Blackshirt Brewing Co, 3719 Walnut St., Denver, CO. Dr. Christopher Ng from Children's Hospital Colorado and the CU Hemophilia and Thrombosis Center presented "Von Willebrand Disease". 

• Dinner program: 5/27/25, 6-8pm. Sushi Den, 1487 S. Pearl St. Denver, CO. Tricia Woellert from Servier presented a talk, "Psychosocial Challenges for the Adolescent and Young Adults (AYAs) with Cancer"

• Dinner program: 3/26/25, 6-8pm. Sushi Den, 1487 S. Pearl St. Denver, CO 80210. Michele Ritter, MSL, discussed a new therapy, Eflornithine, for high-risk neuroblastoma patients. Peter Tsai from US WorldMeds sponsored.

• Annual RMAPHON Business meeting: 2/24/25, 6:30-7 pm, 7-8pm  Watched webinar from Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) "Clinician Strategies and Resources: Caring for AYAs as They Transition to Survivorship” 

• Virtual Joint meeting with Arizona and Las Vegas chapters: 1/30/25, 6-7pm (MST) via zoom, Expert Speaker: Brittany Frazer, Children's Hospital Los Angeles, COG ANBL2131 study nurse, spoke about the Neuroblastoma treatment protocol.
