Counseling Mission Statement
“The mission of the Rockwood Summit High School Counseling Program is to ensure all students achieve their college and/or career goals. The comprehensive school counseling program provides services to all students within a supportive environment. Our program is designed to focus on the students and meet them where they are individually to better assess and assist them with their future academic and career goals. Through the school counseling program, all students will be challenged to work at their full potential while also focusing on their future by exploring their passions, interest, and talents. With the support and commitment from our Counselors we strive to provide our students with the most useful resources and ensuring that they will be well equipped for the future and pushed to their full potential.”

95 percent of senior school students will be registered and will complete the ASVAP by the Fall Semester of 2022 in order to prepare for college and career workshops offered in the spring of 2023.
Specific: We want students to register for the ASVAP testing.
Measurable: We want 95% of the student to complete the ASVAP.
Attainable: Senior year students are register for the ASVAP by the fall of 2022
Relevant: The goal is relevant to high school seniors preparing for college and career workshops.
Time bond: It specifies a deadline (by the end of spring 2023)
