In 2002 Maria Rogers bought a local pizza shop from the previous owner 3 weeks before Christmas and turned that business into the County icon that everyone loves,  Rock N Rogers. Over the years in the original location in downtown Wellington, Maria and her family started their Rock N Rogers Snowsuit Fund and then later partnered with the Local foodbank to provide snowsuits to the areas children in need each winter, as well as raising money for various charities and local families in need over the years. In 2015 Rock N Rogers made the hard decision to move from their downtown location to their current location.

Over the years Rock N Rogers and its owner Maria has had many accomplishments, in 2010 Maria won 1st place in the Picton Fair baking competition and to this day you can find her delicious baked goodies at the counter of Rock N Rogers. In 2019 the staff of Rock N Rogers was honored by the Wellington Lions Club by receiving their Lion Quest Canada Fellow award. Most recently in 2024 Maria was awarded the Community Champion award from the House of Commons for her many years of community support and service.
