암석역학 및 실습 (Rock mechanics and experiment)

  • This course covers the theoretical and experimental methods for the physical and mechanical properties of rock as an engineering material. It includes basic concept and fundamental understanding of rock behaviors for the underground rock structures and facilities.

지열에너지 및 실습 (Geothermal energy and experiment)

  • This course offers the introduction and fundamentals of geothermal energy development. In this course, students learn to understand the principles and technnques of geothermal energy utilization subjected to the geomechanics, and identify the crucial issues related to the further development of geothemal energy.

암반공학 (Rock engineering)

  • This course introduces the advanced principles of rock mechanics and rock engineering as well as the engineering techniques for design and construction of surface and underground rock structures. The topics include engineering properties of rock and rock mass, classification of rock mass, site investigations, design and stability analysis of rock structures, and rock excavation and mining methods.


암반공학응용 및 실습

  • 암석역학의 기초이론을 활용하여 토목 및 자원개발 프로젝트에서 건설되는 암반구조물을 공학적으로 설계하기 위한 보다 심화된 이론과 기법에 대하여 학습한다. 대표적인 암반구조물인 사면, 터널 등을 학생들 스스로 설계하고 간단한 수치해석을 통하여 안정성분석을 수행하여 본 교과목에서 습득한 이론 및 원리를 적용해보도록 한다.
