Rock Mechanics & Underground Space Lab.
Rock Mechanics and Underground Space Laboratory
Applications of underground spaces require a progressively deeper underground with the goal of energy savings and sustainable development. Understanding of behavior of rock is crucial for the development of underground space in rock mass. The rock mechanics and underground space laboratory studies the characteristics of rock behaviors and state-of-the-art rock excavation technologies for the efficient and sustainable development of underground spaces and energy resources.
