Below are just a few reasons to choose ROCKLYN TRAILERS.
Our trailer frames feature high strength 6061 aluminum tube, fully mig welded for optimal durability. All wall studs, roof crossmembers, and floor crossmembers are on 16" spacing. Our roof and walls are built with 1 1/4" square tube for increased snow load, and our floor frames are built from 2"x3", 2"x4", or 2"x6" tube, depending on the trailer's size and axle configuration. For the tongue we use a triple tube A-frame design, welded to the bottom of the floor frame to increase strength and stability.
POLYCOR SIDING
Polycor siding is now standard on all our trailers.
Polycor sheets have a plastic core with an aluminum skin on both sides. This makes them significantly stronger and stiffer than standard aluminum siding, eliminating the wavy look that is common on dark colored trailers with the thinner aluminum skin; therefore improving both appearance and durability.
All our cargo trailers are assembled using a screwless method for the exterior sheets. The heavy duty adhesive used to bond the sheets to the frame holds it secure and does not allow it to move or rattle. Our method allows for a much cleaner and sleeker look, and more importantly, a much stronger and longer lasting bond than screws or rivets.
Another standout feature on our trailers is our recessed weld-on jack plate that is located farther back on the tongue to allow most truck's tailgates to fully open without resting on the jack. This will save your tailgate from those bumps and scratches that are all too common when towing most other trailers with the jack installed in the ball coupler.
At Rocklyn Trailers we use wood sheets that are designed specifically for cargo trailer interiors. This material has much better resistance to water and mud than the conventional building material plywood in many competing trailer brands.
Also standard is our ceiling mounted LED lights with a power switch located at the side door, 4 flush mount hold down rings, wall vents, a top mounted license plate light and plate tray to reduce the risk of damage, and a drip trim gutter above all the trailers door openings to drain water to the sides.
