Roccella is located on the Costa dei Gelsomini, along the Ionian sea in southern Italy. The conference will take place at the historic Convento dei Minimi.

How to reach Roccella

✈️ By plane:

The nearest airport is Lamezia Terme International Airport. From there, you can either: 

• Book a shuttle transfer (see details below), or

• Take a train from Lamezia Terme Centrale to Roccella and travel independently.

🚆By Train:

You can arrive at Lamezia Terme Centrale or Rosarno train stations and book a transfer from there, or you can travel on your own to Roccella train station.

🚌 Shuttle Service (procedure for participants):

If you need a transfer to Roccella Ionica, you will receive a form to fill in and the email address to send it to in your letter of acceptance to the conference.

Keep in mind that the approximate travel time, for instance, from Lamezia Terme to Roccella is one 1 hour and 40 minutes. 

⚠ Important: Participants are responsible for organizing their own transfers. We strongly recommend booking at least one month in advance.

Arrival & Departure Recommendations

To enjoy the full conference, we suggest arriving on Sunday, August 31st, and departing on Saturday, September 6th.
