Rock in the Park 2026 information
Nightwatch, Dead on Erie, and of course, The Doorknobs are playing this year. We decided some of the proceeds raised at the show would go to fund the Étude Middle and High school music program. Johnsonville Brats cooked on-site will be sold as well as free drinks from Bigby Coffee. It will be the first show The Doorknobs have ever hosted, and we are very excited to show a lot of new and all incredibly talented musicians, you may have never seen before!
2026 performing lineup
Nightwatch is a new Sheboygan-based band formed in 2025. They play mostly original hard rock and metal music written by their drummer and lead singer: Brett Hartley, his long time girlfriend Natalie Schaetzer plays lead guitar, his father John plays Bass and his brother Reece plays rhythm guitar.
Recently they wrote the song "Ride to Glory" Inspired by Iron Maiden's "Galloping bass" technique and Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings films. The band also plays beautiful original hard rock ballads like "Finding our way" reminiscent of Guns & Roses or Aerosmith. This is Nighwatch's biggest show yet, and they have a near all-original hour-long set to showcase, with some never-before-heard songs they have written over the summer.
Dead on Erie is an alternative rock band from Sheboygan. Forming this year, the fledgling band has played a few shows around town. Featuring Cain Wick on drums, Mark Martinez on lead guitar Ethan Methfessel on Bass, Mariella Revenson on lead vocals, and Sam Stanford on rhythm guitar. Practicing in an improvised home studiospace in Ethan's basement, the band has put together a 45 minute set of covers, and a few all-new originals. Most notably: The band has covered songs from early Maroon 5, to even The Strokes and The Pixies. The band is very influenced by 90s and early 2000s alternative rock and metal music, and is very excited to play for a large crowd for the very first time.
Hosting this concert series; The Doorknobs are a four-piece rock band hailing from Sheboygan, Wisconsin. They feature Lennon Helgeson (Keys, Lead Vocals), Max Irby (Bass, Guitar, Vocals), Harrison Brunette (Guitar), and Aiden Melei (Drums). The band's influences range from post-war blues to '60s psychedelia, from the grunge era of the ‘90s all the way to today.
Since forming in 2023, the band has begun to break in to the local music scene, using their influences to establish their own unique, atmospheric sound that is sure to captivate wider and wider audiences in the coming years. Recently, they've debuted new originals like "Walk in the park" (For which this concert is named after) and "Rosendale Blues' over this summer. They've always wanted to play at City Green, and decided to show off some of the other local talent's they've performed with.
