We’re Chris and Johnna Laws — the husband-and-wife team behind Rock Bottom Construction, LLC, based in beautiful Butler, Tennessee. Along with our daughter, Ellianna May, we’re building a business rooted in hard work, integrity, and family values.

Chris has been in construction since he was just 12 years old, learning the ropes alongside his dad. With over 15 years of hands-on experience in excavation, heavy equipment operation, septic work, and home construction, he leads all field operations with skill and pride. From running equipment to finishing touches, Chris ensures every job is done right.

Johnna brings nearly a decade of experience in healthcare operations, where she developed strong expertise in leadership, organization, and business management. As a licensed TN Realtor, she also brings valuable knowledge in client relations and project coordination. At RBC, Johnna oversees the day-to-day operations of the business and the administrative functions that keep projects organized and running smoothly from start to finish. 

We’re starting with a strong focus on residential excavation and site work, putting care and attention into every stage of the job. From site preparation and grading to driveways and small builds, every project is handled with the same level of pride and detail we would expect on our own property.

When we’re not working, we love spending time outdoors as a family — camping, fishing, hunting, and enjoying the simple country life. From raising chickens to baking sourdough and firing up the smoker, we’re building more than just a business — we’re building a life we love.
