The Serra Club of Rochester held its annual Great Promise Award ceremony on Sunday, April 6, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Stewartville, MN. The award is given each spring to sixth graders in the area who, according to their teachers or faith formation directors, have shown great promise to lead lives of outstanding Christian virtue during their upcoming teenage years and beyond. This year there were twelve honorees They are shown in the picture below and their parishes are identified. Father Connelly, pastor at St. Bernard, is also in the picture.
