Explore Mathematics Beyond the Classroom

The Rochester Mathematics Directed Reading Program (DRP) connects undergraduate students with graduate student mentors for semester-long independent reading projects. Students have the opportunity to explore mathematical topics beyond the standard undergraduate curriculum through regular meetings with their mentors and guided independent study.

The program is organized by graduate students in mathematics at the University of Rochester.

Who Can Participate?

The program is open to all University of Rochester undergraduates interested in exploring mathematics beyond their regular coursework. Students from Mathematics, Physics, and other departments are welcome to apply. Specific prerequisites may vary by project.

No prior research experience is required.
