• Lifelong resident of Essex. Lived in Ward 3 for a number of years on Bellcraft Beach #2

• His wife, Patricia Cacilhas, grew up in Colchester South with family members throughout all 4 wards.

• Grew up in the former Colchester North Township and attended Colchester North Public School.

• Attended Essex High School and received the Outstanding Achievement in Sport from the Premier of Ontario.

• Attended St. Clair College and received a Diploma in Police Foundations.

• Currently residing in Essex Centre with his wife where they are raising their three sons.

CAREER AND BUSINESS EXPERIENCE

• Worked at Grafton & Fraser Group and excelled in sales and achieved top sales throughout Canada.

• Transitioned to a key position at Impressive Flooring in Sales, Installation & Management.

• Started his own company in Essex 25 years ago I.C.T. Ltd. Commercial flooring company.

• Created working relationships with Commercial & Residential Developers as well as Industry Leaders in Southern Ontario and throughout Canada.

• Opened Ice Cool Treats over 15 yrs ago with his wife and has now become a staple in Essex and continues to grow each and every year.

VOLUNTEERING & COMMUNITY

• Participated in a number of community activities and non-profit organizations throughout the years such as supporting sporting teams, donating to local schools and helping the community as a whole.

• Whether it was assisting with residential snow removal, or supporting our local labour workforce during difficult times (strikes/layoff/fundraisers).

- Previous Director for the Essex BIA in Essex Centre.

- Served as the Vice President of ECWC for the past 5 yrs.

- Coached the youth as an assistant coach of the Wolf Pack Wrestling

- Volunteered with the Essex District High School Wrestling Club.

• Created and maintains relationships with political leaders in our community including Essex Town Council, our Member of Parliament for Essex and our new Member of Provincial Parliament for Essex.

ACHIEVEMENTS

• President & CEO of BC Blades, an innovative company that designed and developed a US patent.
