Roboto Woff2 BETTER Download

Hi, I have one problem. Since i use webix, always, every time that i load a page with webix i get an error (404) of two fonts, the problem is that the fonts exist in my folder an is annoying see the error every time.

The strange thing is, in jenkins builds, we are still using goog-webfont-dl to download Roboto, but for some reason, the Roboto css file with the @font-face roboto css file that is uploaded is missing the Roboto styles and only includes the .eot file mentioned in my first edit.

Note how we are specifying the variants that we want from the Roboto Mono font family. We then specify the formats that we would like for each. We are requesting the ttf, woff, and woff2 formats. The woff2 format is the most modern web font format, but support for woff2 is still lacking in some browsers. Therefore, we are also providing a fallback in woff format, which has support back to Internet Explorer 9, and a TrueType format, or ttf. This will give us excellent coverage, but when we write our CSS, we will provide more fallback options using standard fonts. The font-display property will also help us manage how we load fonts for various users.

While working on our Genesys Cloud webchat 2.0 widget application and launching at a client site, we started getting this error "Access to font -v29-latin-regular.woff2 from origin ' ' has been blocked by CORS policy. No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource.

Source Formats: We don't want the browser to download the font if itdoesn't support variable fonts, so we add format and tech descriptions: once in thefuturesyntax(format('woff2') tech('variations')), once in the deprecated but supported among browserssyntax (format('woff2-variations')). If the browser supports variable fonts and supportsthe upcoming syntax, it will use the first declaration. If it supports variablefonts and the current syntax, it will use the second declaration. They bothpoint to the same font file.

Another thing to note is the src order. First, we check if a local copy of the font is available (local("Roboto")) and use it. A lot of Android devices come with Roboto pre-installed in which case, the pre-installed copy will be used. If a local copy is not available, it goes on to download the woff2 format if supported by the browser. Else, it skips to the next font in the declaration that is supported.

Online web font services commonly offer five file formats to choose from: .eot, .woff, .woff2, .svg, and .ttf. The .woff and .woff2 formats have the best support when it comes to email, so we suggest using one or both of these formats when you can. ff782bc1db
