Robotics - a step to the future

About the project

The project aims to provide solutions to fundamental problems in robotics or engineering through intelligent robots.

During the project students will learn how sensors and motors work, how to program a robot to observe objects / obstacles using the ultrasonic sensor and how to travel routes.

AIMS

  • Promoting robotics and visual programming among children.

  • Exchange of practices and knowledge in STEM education

EXPECTED RESULTS

The final products will be available on the OpenRoberta platform, on the etwinning project page and on the project website and will be a model of good educational practice.

  • Students and teachers will develop their ICT competences and 21st century skills.

  • Students will communicate with each other, learn about coding robots.

  • Students will develop their language skills.

  • Cooperation among teachers and schools will develop.

WORK PROCESS

  • Setting goals, working process, adding teacher partners and students

  • Teachers and students introduce themselves by writing on a padlet.

  • Sharing information about schools and cities.

  • Draw a robot in Microsoft Paint 3D.

  • Create a visual story with all the digital drawing using PhotoStory.

  • Open Roberta. Basic concepts

  • Exchange of code for virtual EV3, EDISON, MICRO:BIT and other robotic systems.

  • Exchange of code for Edison Robot and other robots.

  • Recording of moves of Edison robot and other robots.

  • Online meeting with students participating in the project.

  • Creating a common product for the project – a website in English

  • Project assessment. Dissemination of the project.
