Theme: Innovation in Motion: Sumo, Line, and Maze

Venue: Metro Dumaguete College Campus 2 Gym / Magatas, Sibulan Negros Oriental

I. Opening Block (07:00 AM – 09:30 AM)

• 07:00 AM

  • Registration & Tech Inspection

    • All robots weighed & measured.

    • Robot Calibration and Track testing

• 08:45 AM

  • Grand Procession of Teams

    • Teams enter with their robots.

• 09:00 AM

  • National Anthem & Invocation

    • Recorded or Student-led.

• 09:10 AM

  • Welcome Address

    • School Head / Event Organizer.

• 09:20 AM

  • Keynote Guest Speaker

    • Inspirational talk on AI & Robotics.

• 09:30 AM

  • Rules & Safety Briefing

    • Head Referee (Final Q&A).

II. The Round Robin Heats (09:45 AM – 12:00 PM)

To finish by 3 PM, we run three stations at once.

Calibration is still allowed

Station A: Sumo Ring

Station B: Line Track

Station C: The Maze

III. Mid-Day Break (12:00 PM – 01:00 PM)

• Lunch Break: Teams are encouraged to stay in the Pit area for quick repairs.

• Data Entry: Judges finalize the Round Robin standings and seed the top performers for the Grand Finals.

IV. The Championship Finals (01:00 PM – 03:20 PM)

This is the "Spectator Phase." All other stations close so everyone can watch the top bots.

No calibration is allowed(except for Batteries and Minor hardware changes like bolts and nuts)

  • Maze Speed Solve

    • Top 3 Maze bots compete for the fastest exit.

• 01:30 PM

  • Line Follower "Pro" Run

    • The 5 fastest Line bots do one final "blind" run.

• 02:30 PM

  • Sumo Grand Finals

  • Round Robin of Champions. The top 4 bots face off.

• 03:20 PM

  • Closing Remarks

    • Guest Speaker / Sponsor thank you.

V. Awards & Adjournment (03:40 PM – 05:00 PM)

• 03:40 PM – Awarding Ceremony:

  • Certificates of Participation

  • Special Awards: (Best Design, Most Resilient, Innovator Award)

  • Category Winners: (1st, 2nd, 3rd for Sumo, Line, and Maze)

• 04:30 PM – Photo Opportunity: All teams, coaches, and guests.

• 05:00 PM – Event Adjourned: Clean-up and Load-out.
