Robotics Competitions

The Queenstown Robostormers have competed in the First Lego League (FLL) for many years, and it is our main focus. In the past we have also taken part in RoboCup Soccer and RoboCup Rescue.

FLL is a months-long challenge involving building, coding, and innovating. Teams design a LEGO robot to complete as many missions as possible within a time limit. But it is more than just robotics. Each team must also identify a real-world problem connected to that year’s theme and create a technology-based solution.

Everything is then presented to judges in a clear and engaging way. Over the years, the Queenstown Robostormers have achieved many successes.
