Week 6:
Brainstormed project ideas, sensors, peripherals, and interfaces
Created this website and a proposed schedule
Week 7:
Researched what parts would work well for our purposes
Developed flowcharts of software implementation
Week 8:
Bought the parts we determined
Continued working on software: PID controller implementation and Kalman Filter implementation
Week 9:
Assembled the mechanical structure of the robot
Began the initial prototyping stage and establishing communication with our interfaces
Week 10:
Tested motor functionality via motor drivers
Ran a self balancing testing phase using our PID controller together with the Kalman Filter
Used a Bluetooth module to pilot the robot using a remote control
