Our competition robot is named RAMA — Robotic Aiming and Mechanical Accelerator. Each year, FIRST Tech Challenge teams are handed a brand-new, unique game challenge, sparking an intense months-long journey of engineering and innovation requiring a relentless cycle of building, coding, and testing. RAMA incorporates mechanical design, motor control, sensors, autonomous programming, driver-controlled systems, and student-developed software. Team members are fully responsible for designing, building, testing, improving, documenting, and explaining the robot from the ground up.
