I am a Ph.D. Candidate in Economics at Heidelberg University, where I work at the Chair of International and Development Politics under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Axel Dreher.
I hold an M.Sc. in Economic Research and a B.Sc. in Economics from the University of Cologne and completed an exchange semester at ESAN University in Lima, Peru.
My research lies at the intersection of Development Economics, Urban Economics, and Environmental Economics. I also work on topics in Economic History and Political Economy. Methodologically, my work combines causal inference approaches with geospatial data, including satellite-derived measures.
