About Me
I am a Ph.D. candidate studying Finance at Florida Atlantic University’s College of Business in Boca Raton. While pursuing my degree, I work as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at the University.
My primary research interests are Entrepreneurial Finance, Fintech, and Law. Currently, I am currently working with a revolutionary U.S. securities-based crowdfunding dataset. More information about this project can be found here.
I am a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and lived for several years in the state of South Carolina where I attended the University of South Carolina. At the University of South Carolina, I earned a Bachelor of Science in Statistics with an emphasis in Actuarial Science, minors in Risk Management & Insurance, and Political Science. I graduated Magna Cum Laude.
In my free time, I enjoy traveling, reading books, and volunteering in the community.
-My favorite countries that I have visited are Croatia, Italy, and Iceland.
-My favorite books are The Killers of Flower Moon (by David Grann) and The Book Thief (by Marcus Zusak).
-Over the years, I have volunteered with Junior Achievement, the YMCA, and other organizations that inspire and prepare young people to succeed.
