2024 Speaker Rev. Ray Amos Sr.
Ray is a gifted speaker who has preached many revivals and events. He is a native of Giles County and has relatives all over Southwest Virginia.
After serving many years in the Holston Conference of the United Methodist Church, Ray retired one year ago. His retirement is short-lived, however, as he was appointed in June 2024 as pastor of the Kendricks Creek United Methodist Church in Kingsport, Tennessee.
"I’m blessed to be the pastor of a beautiful church, Kendrick’s Creek United Methodist. I believe that God is truly in this appointment. This Sunday is the first Sunday in the pulpit. It’s a new beginning for us all. May the Lord be praised."
