I'm a PhD candidate in the Department of Linguistics at the University of Toronto. My thesis projects concerns the variable usage of noun and pronoun genitives across multiple dialects of vernacular Arabic today, with an aim to examine how this variable can tell us something about the history of the Arabic language.
