Roberto Nai was born in Alessandria, where he lives.

🎓
Roberto Nai holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science and a second Master’s degree in Network Services.
He earned his professional engineering qualification at the Polytechnic University of Turin.
He also obtained his high school teaching qualification ("SIS" in Italian, 120 CFU) at the University of Milan (class A041 – Information Technology).
He earned a PhD in Computer Science (INF/01) from the Department of Computer Science, University of Turin.

Currently, he is a Research Fellow at the Department of Computer Science, University of Turin.

Member of the Order of Engineers of the Province of Alessandria (registration number 2384).

His research focuses mainly on green public procurement, particularly on applications of Artificial Intelligence in fraud analysis and detection.
As a subtask, he focuses on:
- analysis of legal texts in administrative justice, with Natural Language Processing (NLP);
- Predictive Process Monitoring (PPM);
- Large Language Models (LLMs).
