1: For the Step by Step assignment I drew Cat-Dog and their House.

2: One element of art that is in this drawing is Texture where you could see scales on the fish.

3. One principle of design that is in this drawing is Emphasis where the first thing you notice is Cat-Dog.

-My cityscape is split in half with the left side being underwater with buildings such as Spongebob's house which shows dream aspects with bizarre things you would not see normally and the right side shows a regular city from our world.

- The word I chose is "Dream On!" I chose this because you can dream anytime but only some achieve their hopes and dreams to succeed in this lifetime.

-The most challenging about making this was the few errors that proceeded with painting and coloring which made me feel down until I overcame them.

-What I feel is most successful in my drawing is Spongebob's house which turned out better than I thought it was going to be.

- The 2 elements of art that are in my drawing are texture which can be found on the road on the left where you can see a rough texture of sand. And I used natural shapes for the boot which is curved and cannot be measured.

-Two principles of Design shown in my drawing is pattern where the lines on Spongebob's house are a pattern. Another Principle of design shown is emphasis where the most noticeable thing in this picture is the text of "Dream On!" 

1. What I drew on my shirt is a paintbrush painting the words TADA with an engraving that says "You Can't Rush Art"

2. This represents TADA because paintbrushes are a part of art and TADA is an art program.

3. Two elements of Art that can be found in this drawing are Curvy Lines which were used for the Tada font. And shape where the paintbrush is an organic shape that cannot be measured.

4. Two principles of design can be found in this drawing is emphasis which is where the paintbrush is the most visible thing found in the shirt. And movement to where you could imagine that the paint from TADA is dripping down.

1. My spirit animal is a platypus

2. The platypus represents me because in the description it is said that they observe well but can misinterpret situations easily which fits me. After all, I usually am not very social but I do pay close attention to my surroundings.

3. Two elements of art that are in this photo are lines, I used thick and thin lines for the pattern that is in the middle closest to the tail. Another element of art that can be found in my drawing is value because you can see at the bottom of the platypus where the color pallet starts light then gets dark over time.

4.  Two principles of design that are in my drawing are emphasis and pattern. You can find emphasis in the whole drawing where there is a black and white background while the platypus is colored to be emphasized. And pattern can be found in places such as the tail which is in a black-and-white checkered pattern.

The image I chose to show Pop culture is of the Pokemon Wooper.

2.  How does your image show Pop Culture?

My image shows pop culture as it is apart of the popular franchise Pokemon that is also owned by Nintendo which is one of the biggest game companies of today. 

3.  What is your favorite color scheme and why.

My favorite color scheme would be the Analogous Color Scheme because the colors all fit together and since they are all similar and they can resemble a fire.

 One element of art that can be found in my art work is color where in the Monochromatic color scheme there are brighter and darker shades of green. Another element of art that can be found are shapes which make up the outline and design of the wooper pokemon in my drawing.

 One principle of design that can be found in my art is emphasis where in the white background the colorful woopers are very visible in this artwork. Another principle of design that can be found is Balance which can be found where the wooper has two horns on each side of it's head and have the exact same symmetry.

1. What kind of graphic novel cover did you decide on?

The type of graphic novel I had decided to use for my drawing was a comic book cover.

2. Describe your character and the story to your novel

My character is a guy from our world who got caught in a portal which brought him to a crazy world with many monsters and he has to progress through the world to be able to leave if he wants to. His outfit choice is of a necromancer or a wizard because he felt like it should matter if he is handling magic hence is why he is called the mage.

One element of art that I used in my drawing is texture where on the lantern you can see a shine over the glass which would feel smooth. Another element of art that I used here is shape where the two eyes in the background are of a geometric shape as they are comprised of circles which make the character.

4. 2 Principles of Design to describe your work

One Principle of design that can be found in my drawing is Repetition where you can see the background repeats its shape until we reach the mountains in the background along with the sky. Another Principle of Design that can be found in my Drawing is Emphasis where in the Corrupted background my character stands out as he is in a fully green and blue attire.
