"Growing up to the sounds of Henry Mancini, John Williams, and Tangerine Dream, I came to deeply revere music’s ability to describe and shape our inner state—to awaken emotion, memory, and imagination. My own composition spans many musical genres. What unites them is a shared purpose: to foster and sometimes ignite change within, inviting new ways of feeling and seeing."
The Rest Between Breaths was created during a period of profound personal change. What began as an effort to bring calm to a turbulent world became an intimate reflection on loss, continuity, and stillness as I composed through my father’s final months and beyond. Each piece marks a stage in that journey—from the quiet renewal of “Dawning,” to the gentle observation of “Papa’s Window,” to the meditative stillness of the title track. Together, they offer a space for pause and inner rest amid life’s shifting rhythms.
