Doerksen is Associate Dean of the Graduate School, Professor of Medicinal Chemistry in the Department of BioMolecular Sciences, Professor of Biomedical Engineering in the Department of Bioengineering in the School of Engineering, and Research Professor in the Research Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences in the School of Pharmacy, at University of Mississippi. He is Director of the NIH GlyCORE Computational Chemistry and Bioinformatics Research CORE (CCBRC).
