Principal Investigator

Robert Ariel, Ph.D.

Originally from Chicago, I am an associate professor of psychology at Batten University. I received my Ph.D. in experimental psychology with a cognitive focus from Kent State University and postdoctoral training at Georgia Institute of Technology and Purdue University. My research focuses on how people monitor and regulate their learning and memory across the lifespan, and how principles from cognitive psychology can be used to develop personalized educational interventions that improve learning and support health and well-being.
