The first of my serious media compositions, and the one that started it all. Created on xxxxx and took several rights before I settled on the final version and feel of the score. I remember having a hard time getting the feel of the Showa feel from the films, so I looked at the master, Akira Ifukube, and his work. "Sinfonia Tapkaara (1954)" was a huge inspiration for this cue and one that laid the foundation for future works.

Created in a day. This was my first real attempt at getting my compositions out there by interacting with established creators. Luckily enough, the creator was blown away and kept the music in. This was a milestone for me. Although brief, I had enough time to create a piece that told its own story and set the scene for the action. The ending, in particular, stood out as a great segue to the next scene.

Also created in a day, due to necessity, this score is mostly different from other Godzilla-related material, but one I'm still rather familiar with: Jazz. Inspired by the original Mechagodzilla theme from 1974, in the middle of the arrangement, I use double time swing to indicate the fast action of the fight.

Written by George Gershwin and Ira Gershwin, this marvelous arrangement flourished in the spring semester of my senior year, 2024. Took a day to finish, once i got the inspiration for the start, it was very smooth sailing. I really enjoy this arrangement, it's fun, short, and does not feel repetitive at all in my opinion. To me, I think this shows the progress I've made in arranging jazz standards into what they are now.
