I am a PhD candidate in the School of Computing and Information Systems at the University of Melbourne, supervised by Prof Nic Geard and Prof Daniel Capurro. My PhD research focuses on modelling the impact of mass casualty incidents on the provision and utilisation of emergency department services. Specifically, I design and evaluate novel computational and AI models for disaster preparedness and response. More broadly, my research interests include health AI, crisis informatics, complex systems, and computational modelling, aimed at developing data-driven approaches to support clinical and operational decision making in healthcare systems during crises.Â
My PhD is funded by the Melbourne Research Scholarship. I hold an honorary appointment with the Royal Melbourne Hospital and am a recipient of the 2023 Melbourne Centre for Data Science (MCDS) Doctoral Academy Fellowship and the 2025 Faculty of Engineering and IT (FEIT) Visiting Fellowship.
