About

I am a PhD candidate in the School of Computing and Information Systems at the University of Melbourne, supervised by Nic Geard and Daniel Capurro. I am studying the impact of mass casualty incidents on the provision and utilization of emergency department services using techniques from data science, process mining, agent-based modeling, and machine learning. Before doing my PhD in Australia, I studied in the Philippines and South Korea and worked as an AI researcher for Korean startups. My research interests lie at the intersection of health informatics, modeling and simulation, and AI.

My PhD is funded by the Melbourne Research Scholarship. I have an honorary appointment with the Royal Melbourne Hospital and am a recipient of the 2023 Melbourne Centre for Data Science Doctoral Academy Fellowship.
