  • all rooms at the Shady Shores Beach Resort include full bathroom, an equipped kitchenette, livingroom with fireplace and Hide-a-bed, outdoor patio, beach front campfires, access to hot tub, rental kayaks, and fishing gear. A single room has one bedroom with a Queen Bed,(single occupancy fee required) Double rooms have two roomy bedrooms with Queen Beds.

Some of you may wish to arrange your own lodging or ... you are local and just wish to register for the workshop portion.

You will check in on May 9, get settled with a welcome get together that evening at the Shady Shores Resort. The Workshops will begin Sunday May 10. Checkout will be the morning of the 16th

One evening we will enjoy a beachfire dinner and music entertainment watching the sunset over the Salish Sea. One evening we will gather at the www.CatHouseGallery.com and enjoy an evening of trying our hand drawing clothed models.

We will start each day with a painting demo and choose a skill to focus on for the day. We will transport you daily to each of our selected painting sites, each day is fully escorted, all entry fees included to sites

meals are NOT included but lots of opportunity and suggestions for dining, or we will provide access to grocery stores to stock up to use the kitchenette. There are several good local restaurants in the area and we will make arrangements for get you there!

For your "downtime" all rooms are located steps away from a secluded beach, access to hot tubs, lounge beach chairs, rental kayaks and fishing equipment.

Full Kit List and itinerary will be fowarded when we recieve your registation fee.

If you are new to Watercolour a beginner kit is available to purchase $60! includes 12 artist grade watercolours in a folding palette, basic brushes, a watercolour journal, pens, pencils.

these workshops are open to ALL LEVELS of expertise and skill and all mediums, Focus will be on using sketchbooks, mixed media and watercolour to record our journey together. On our excursions you are free to engage in urban sketching / pleine air painting in any form you prefer.
