Roach Piano Studio Policies 2025-2026 School Year
Supply Fee
A supply fee of $50/student + first month tuition is due July 1st. This fee includes the entrance cost for one local piano event and it also confirms your interest in holding a slot in my studio for the 2025-2026 school year.
2025-2026 Lesson Schedule
August 1-May 31:
Lessons will be held every week except:
August 1-14: Summer Kick-off Camps (Older students may elect for a private one-hour lesson instead)
November 24-28: Thanksgiving Break
December 22-January 2: Winter Break
April 6-10: Millard School District's Spring Break
June-July: 6-week summer lesson package
Tuition
Payment is due the 1st of every month from August-May
Private 30-minute lesson: $105/month
45-minute lesson (15-minutes combined with another student): $125/month
Private 45-minute lesson: $157/month
Summer tuition lesson package (6 weeks, private 30-minute lesson): $150
Books
Students are responsible for purchasing lesson books. I often lend supplemental or seasonal books from my studio that students can borrow at no charge. Students are encouraged to purchase their own supplemental books for enjoyment.
Missed Lessons
Your monthly tuition holds the time slot you have selected in my piano studio. Due to my limited schedule, I do not have time available to make-up a lesson during the week if a student misses. I understand that illness and unexpected weather/family events occur, so you may communicate with other families in my studio to occasionally trade lesson times or I can use your lesson time to teach a virtual lesson or send you some assignments. Students are never required to pay for a lesson that the teacher misses.
Events
Students are highly encouraged to participate in all of the studio recitals and at least one other event every year. My studio will organize a minimum of two recitals each year. Since I am a member of the Nebraska Music Teachers Association, your child is also eligible to participate in many local events. In addition to these events, students in my studio may also take part in studio Summer Piano Camps, the December Performance Challenge, and other creative studio activities. Parents will receive regular personalized progress updates.
