About Me 

My name is Jacqueline Magana otherwise known as Roachie online. Currently, I am a film and digital media major at UCSC. I directed and acted in Victoria's Muse. A short thriller nominated at the SJDC Film Festival awarded 2nd place and earning best short film at the Fall 2024 CCHS Multimedia Festival. 

I have always been interested in the arts whether it be animation, photography, origami, digital art, graphic design, music, and the performing arts.  I always knew I wanted to pursue a career in which I can further develop my creativity and problem-solving skills. Upon taking my first multimedia course in high school my senior year, film quickly became my aspiration. Combining multiple art mediums and leading a team towards greatness are my favorite aspects of production. 

In the future I plan on continuing my pursuit in a career involved in the entertainment industry. I want to prioritize spending quality time with my friends, family and pets who have provided me with the motivation and support to continue my creative journey.
