About Me

I am working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics, National Institute of Technology, Jamshedpur, India. I have about 11 years of teaching/research experience at different educational institutes in India and abroad. I worked as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in the School of Mathematics, Statistics & Computer Science, University of KwaZulu-Natal, Pietermaritzburg, South Africa from January 2013 - July 2014. I spent 4 years (July 2014 - June 2018) as Assistant Professor in the School of Mathematics, Thapar University, Patiala, India and 2 years (February 2011 - January 2013) at KIIT University, Bhubaneswar, India. I have obtained M. Phil. and Ph. D. degrees in Applied Mathematics from Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines) Dhanbad in the year 2007 and 2011, respectively. I received the University Gold Medal in his Masters. I have published a number of research papers in reputed SCI/SCIE listed international journals. His research interests include theoretical fluid flow modeling along stretching surfaces, nanofluid flows, and flow along curved surfaces. I am presently handling a research project funded by Science & Engineering Research Board (Department of Science & Technology), Government of India. I love to teach Numerical Analysis, Calculus of Variations, Integral Equations, and Integral Transforms.Â
