About Me

I am a British photographer based in Wimbledon, London, specialising in movement and performance photography.

I became interested in photography as a young teen when my uncle gifted one of my sisters and I a camera, and took us out for day trips with it, teaching us what makes a good image and how to use the camera. I continued taking photos as a hobby, looking for anything beautiful that captured my eye.

Growing up in a sporty family, I spent many years exposed to various dance and gymnastics events, where I would often take my camera along to, capturing my sisters and their team mates; my eye for detail, and fascinated by the challenge of capturing split second moments of movement.

A few years ago I decided to push myself further and take photography professionally, when I realised my photos don't just bring me joy to take and view, but bring happiness to other people. I turned off 'auto' and started learning how to maximise my camera's capabilities.

I am currently studying Photography at Morley College, Chelsea Centre for Creative Industries, where I am refining my skills and knowledge, learning and experimenting with many new ideas and techniques each week

During my first 2 years of studies I've become interested in photographing within a studio, specifically dance portraits. I'm drawn to the elegant and interesting shapes the human body can create, as well as the beauty of dance & gymnastics. As a gymnastics coach of over 10 years I understand timing and technique of movements, which hugely benefits me as a photographer to predict when to click the shutter during both performances and portraits to capture the peak of a movement.
