RMS FBLA presented Polk DFCS with our items for our BackPacks for Foster Care community service project. Regions winners were recognized and students were given info about competing at State.
December 12/4
RMS FBLA met this afternoon and students were given the opportunity to work on the LEAD program via Google Classroom. The new website was launched and students enjoyed ice cream while networking.
November 11/2
RMS FBLA had a great meeting this afternoon. Our guest speaker was Stacey Smith, the City of Rockmart’s Director of Community Development. She spoke with our students about Business and Enterprise, retaining Rockmart citizens after they complete their education, and continuing to build our community. We also had a cake to celebrate American Enterprise Day, which will be held on November 15th.

We had a great time at our monthly FBLA meeting. Jane Waldrop (former FBLA member) from Regions Bank spoke to our students about being financially responsible and credit. Kason Zuker was named as our October Member of the Month for having the most recruits during our recruiting challenge. Students also enjoyed donuts 🍩 and socializing.
September 9/6/19
Former FBLA member and Precious Paws Grooming SPA & Hotel owner Kellie Taylor spoke with our FBLA students at our monthly meeting about owning and operating a business, branding, and the hiring process. Students learned a lot from Kellie and were able to ask many questions. Afterwards, we enjoyed team building exercises and ice cream! Our September service project will be a cleanup downtown at the park Saturday from 11am - 1pm. We will be grilling hotdogs after the cleanup.

Members from our leadership team met this afternoon to plan our upcoming year for FBLA. We are actively recruiting and have some exciting incentives for both new and returning members! Stay tuned for more information about our Kick-Off Ice Cream Social!
