Periodontics

Periodontal examination- To check the overall health of the gums. This includes the checking the depth of the pocket of each tooth which could become an area where bacteria could accumulate, bleeding gums, mobility of tooth, and if gum recession is present.

Scaling and root planing- this is done to treat localized or generalized periodontitis, characterized by bleeding gums, mobile teeth, and gum recession.
