How We Research
We compare products from their published specs and features; the verdicts below are our independent editorial opinions.
If you want a tough, fitted protective shell that keeps your Bose earbuds and their charging case safe from knocks, dust and moisture, choose RLSOCO Carrying Case; if you need a working replacement charging case for AirPods Pro 3rd Generation earbuds, choose korllo A3122. These two products get compared a lot, but they do completely different jobs — one protects a charging case you already own, the other is the charging case. Read on and you'll know in two minutes which one belongs in your cart.
• RLSOCO Carrying Case — biggest strength: A hard EVA shell custom-shaped for Bose QuietComfort Ultra (2nd Gen), QuietComfort Ultra and QuietComfort Earbuds II, with water, dust and scratch resistance and a two-year warranty.
• RLSOCO Carrying Case — biggest trade-off: It's a case only. It carries no battery and charges nothing, and it fits Bose models only — no AirPods, no other brands.
• korllo A3122 — biggest strength: It's a full replacement charging case for AirPods Pro 3rd Generation (A3064/A3063 earbuds), with USB-C and Qi wireless charging plus over-charge, over-voltage, over-temperature and short-circuit protection.
• korllo A3122 — biggest trade-off: It's a case only too, and compatibility is narrow — it will not work with AirPods Pro 1st/2nd Gen, AirPods 3, AirPods 4 or any Bose buds.
• Who each pick is for: RLSOCO for Bose owners who want to protect the case they already have; korllo for AirPods Pro 3 owners whose original charging case is lost or damaged.
The RLSOCO Carrying Case is a protective shell, not a charger. It's custom-made for the Bose QuietComfort Ultra (2nd Gen), QuietComfort Ultra and QuietComfort Earbuds II, and it's sized to hold the earbuds, the charging case, the cable and spare eartips together — the compatible device size maxes out at 6.6 cm, which tells you it's a compact, fitted design rather than a roomy pouch. The build is high-density EVA with fiber and polyester materials, and the listing calls out RoHS/SGS certification on the fabric, lining and EVA compartments, plus a thicker grade of EVA so the shell doesn't deform easily. It's rated water resistant and dust resistant, with a hard shell type.
Who should skip it? Anyone who doesn't own Bose QuietComfort Ultra or Earbuds II buds — it simply won't fit other brands. And if your problem is a dead or missing charging case, this won't solve it, because RLSOCO ships the case only; earbuds, the charging case and accessories are not included.
korllo A3122: Who It's For
The korllo A3122 is a replacement charging case, and that's the whole point of it. It's built for AirPods Pro 3rd Generation earbuds (model A3064/A3063) and the A3122 charging case model, and it exists for one very specific scenario: your original case is lost, damaged or won't hold a charge anymore, but your earbuds are perfectly fine. Instead of replacing the whole set, you replace the case.
Setup is straightforward by design. You drop both earbuds in, keep the lid open, double-tap the front of the case until the indicator flashes white, then pick your AirPods in your phone's Bluetooth settings to finish pairing. It charges both ways — USB-C wired or Qi wireless — so it slots into whatever charging habit you already have. The safety layer is worth noting too: over-charge, over-voltage, over-temperature and short-circuit protection, which is the kind of thing that matters when a case is sitting on a nightstand charging overnight. The shell is ABS plastic in white.
Who should skip it? Anyone with AirPods Pro 1st or 2nd Gen, AirPods 3, AirPods 4, or any other brand. The compatibility list is strict, and there's no charging case for Bose here — and no earbuds in the box either.
• Best for protecting Bose earbuds → RLSOCO Carrying Case. Custom fit for QuietComfort Ultra (2nd Gen), QuietComfort Ultra and Earbuds II, with EVA shell protection and water/dust resistance.
• Best for replacing a lost or damaged AirPods Pro 3 charging case → korllo A3122. It restores charging and pairing without buying new earbuds.
• Best for rugged everyday carry → RLSOCO Carrying Case. Hard shell, scratch resistant, compact enough for a purse or pocket.
• Best for charging flexibility → korllo A3122. USB-C and Qi wireless charging in one case.
• Best for overnight charging peace of mind → korllo A3122. Four built-in protections: over-charge, over-voltage, over-temperature and short-circuit.
• Best for long-term durability claims → RLSOCO Carrying Case. Two-year warranty and thicker EVA that resists deforming.
• Best for AirPods owners → korllo A3122. RLSOCO doesn't make an AirPods version in this listing.
• Best for Bose owners → RLSOCO Carrying Case. korllo doesn't fit Bose at all.
If I had to pick one, it depends entirely on which problem you're solving — and since the whole comparison turns on "charging case earbuds," I'd lean korllo A3122 for anyone whose AirPods Pro 3 case is gone or failing, because it's the only one of the two that actually charges your earbuds. If your Bose charging case is alive and well and you just want it to survive your bag, I'd buy the RLSOCO Carrying Case instead. In my opinion, neither is a "better" product — they're answers to two different questions. Check the current price on Amazon before you commit, since both are small accessories and the math changes fast.
It depends on the case. The korllo A3122 charges either through its USB-C port or on a Qi wireless pad — drop the earbuds in, close the lid, and connect it to power. The RLSOCO Carrying Case does not charge anything; it only holds your Bose earbuds and their existing charging case.
You can. The korllo A3122 is a charging case in its own right, so it accepts power over USB-C or wirelessly whether or not the earbuds are inside — handy for topping up the case before you head out. Just note the earbuds themselves are not included with it.
For AirPods Pro 3rd Generation, the korllo A3122 is the relevant replacement: USB-C or Qi wireless, with over-charge, over-voltage, over-temperature and short-circuit protection built in. Pairing is done by placing both earbuds in, keeping the lid open, double-tapping the front until the light flashes white, then selecting your AirPods in Bluetooth settings.
Neither product here fits JLab earbuds. The RLSOCO Carrying Case is made for Bose QuietComfort Ultra (2nd Gen), QuietComfort Ultra and QuietComfort Earbuds II, and the korllo A3122 is made for AirPods Pro 3rd Generation (A3064/A3063) only. For JLab, you'd need a case designed for that brand.
