In Minecraft, bedrock is the only indestrucible block in the game. There is currently no crafting recipe for this item and you can't mine it because it is too tough to break. You can, however, find it in the Creative Inventory menu in Creative mode. You can also give yourself bedrock with a game command (see below).

Ever since my game updated with the new update (the really cool one that added stained glass, fireworks, and such) I haven't been able to craft anything. I've tried crafting from my inventory with wood to make planks, and nothing would show up in the other slot. Even when trying to make sticks, or chests, or anything else, I can't craft anything at all. I put all of the items in the correct slots, but it won't show up. Even with the crafting book on the next screen, nothing will show up for me to make, no matter what items I have in my inventory. I don't know what to do. I've tried in survival mode and creative mode, and with a bunch of different recipes, but nothing will work. I have a world in which I'm trying to completely complete the game, but, since the new update, I can't craft anything at all. I haven't seen anyone else with this problem so far. Does anyone on here know what I'm talking about? Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix it? Thank you!

I just now had this happen to me as well. Recipe book showed nothing craftable, and manually crafting wouldn't work either. I rebooted my whole PC, and I'm able to craft again, so you might give that a try.

Bump. I'm trying to play on my PC and have my girlfriend play on my Xbox One. We are using different accounts (for Xbox Live & MC) and no matter what I do (Singleplayer, Servers, Realms) it won't let me craft ANYTHING. I've been playing since Alpha and have played on all platforms as well. We're both on the Better Together versions of the game and can join a game together.. But that's about it. When you put the logs or anything to craft it, nothing comes out-- even trying to use a recipe it says I don't have what's required. Really disappointing from Mojang-- I've been waiting for this update to come out so I could show her the game.. If anyone figures out a solution please let me know.

As a side note, I'm thinking the "no craft" thing only happens under certain circumstances. I've never had a problem crafting.... but I never go on servers, never use a custom world (like CraftBukkit). Only vanilla stuff.... well, except for the Natural Pack.

Minecraft by default uses the MATTIS (Minecraft Advanced Touch Technology Interface System) Crafting System, in which items required are already present in their required slots on the grid present to the right.

After Update 1.0, Classic Crafting (AKA PC Crafting) was made available. In this method, the Player must manually drag-and-drop items required for crafting into their correct slots for the desired item to be crafted.

Hey I fixed this issue for me because I use renewed animal what you need to do is go into Mizunos 16 files >assets>minecraft>textures>entity then from there find the animals/mobs that it changes and delete those files. For me I deleted my cats and wolves. Also arranging your resource packs differently can help fix the issue. Goodluck!

CatCraft is a Minecraft: Java and Bedrock Edition server that aims to expand and enhance vanilla survival gameplay. Minecraft's Bedrock Editor is a multiblock editing experience that helps you easily craft high-quality worlds in Minecraft Bedrock. The Editor is available in the Preview edition of Minecraft Bedrock, and you get to the user interface through a shortcut you create on your computer desktop.

You can only access the Editor through the desktop shortcut and only if you have Preview installed. If you are attempting to access the Editor through Bedrock Preview or regular Minecraft directly, it will not work.

Crazy Craft Addon (1.19) including Orespawn, JEI (resource pack), Inventory Pets, and more! This is the best Crazy Craft recreation available to bedrock players. There is everything here, from a large number of diverse biomes to lucky blocks. If you are ready to try such survival, then feel free to use the assembly.

In this Minecraft Conduit guide, we'll detail everything you need to know about Conduits, including what they are, how they work, their crafting recipe, and how you can obtain the items needed to craft these powerful beacons.

And, place a slab in the top half of the space just above a bedrock block. Use third person view and look at the bottom of this slab. Now place a fence piece there. The fence will destroy the bedrock block beneath the slab. You can also use a Grass Trap instead of a slab. It might be easier to place the fence under the trap.

Beginning in Android version 1.27, there is an invisible layer of bedrock under the visible bedrock. This may be destroyed in the same way but anything placed in this level (such as fences) will also be invisible. If you break through this layer and descend any lower, your character will die. This is commonly called "the void".

Minecraft offers several blocks to build as well as decorate your world. If you are looking to decorate your house and different places then one of the ideal blocks for that would be the Terracotta block.

Minecraft Bedrock Edition is playable on Android, iOS, Windows Mobile, Samsung Gear VR Windows, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and 5, Nintendo Switch, and Fire OS/TV, among other devices and operating systems.

To make an Ender Portal in Minecraft Pocket Edition in creative mode without finding a stronghold, you need to use a command. I am pretty sure they did not add that command. The command used to be /setblock ~ ~ ~ end_gateway in beta build 1, but it no longer works with the official release.

The Dogcraft minecraft server can be joined from both Java and Bedrock Editions of the game. The server itself runs on Java Edition, but through plugins Bedrock players are also supported. This means that in addition to joining from desktops using Java Edition, players can also join from phones, consoles, and using the Windows 10 edition of the game on desktops. Bedrock Edition players can either join using only Bedrock, or if they also have Java link the two accounts, and play from both platforms.

Because of the differences between the Java and Bedrock editions, there are some minor bugs that Bedrock players might experience, but it should not affect gameplay in a major way. For example, redstone also works differently on Bedrock and Java. On Dogcraft, because it is a Java server, redstone works like it normally does in Java Edition. You can see the known issues section of this page for a full list of differences.

The most visible difference between someone playing on Java or Bedrock edition is their playername. When someone connects to the server from Bedrock Edition, their name gets prefixed with an asterisk (*). This is done to make sure no two players with the same name can be online. This asterisk is visible everywhere at the start of their name, from chat to the tab screen. It also has to be used in commands, for example when teleporting to someone on bedrock, or when sending them a private message. But, this asterisk only shows up for people playing exclusively on Bedrock, if someone linked their Java and Bedrock accounts, the asterisk disappears.

For example, if a player named "Alex" were to log on from bedrock, their name in chat would show up as "*Alex", and if you wanted to send them a private message, the command you would use would be /w *Alex . ff782bc1db
