Ritt Keerati

I am an economist at the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System in the International Finance Division. My research interests include international finance and international macroeconomics.

Prior to joining the Federal Reserve Board, I spent 13 years working in finance as an investment banker, private equity investor, distressed debt investor, and a hedge fund manager in New York and Miami. I was most recently a partner at an event-driven hedge fund, responsible for investing in technology, media, and telecom sectors.

I received a BS in Computer Science and BA in Economics, both with distinctions, from Stanford University; an MPP from the Goldman School of Public Policy, University of California at Berkeley; and a Ph.D. in Finance and Economics from Columbia Business School. I received a full scholarship from His Majesty the King of Thailand to attend Stanford University and Phillips Exeter Academy. I also received a silver medal from the 1996 International Olympiad in Informatics in Hungary.
