Robert Resutek is the PwC Faculty Fellow and Professor at the Tull School of Accounting. He teaches Financial Statement Analysis to graduate accounting majors and MBAs. Prior to joining Tull in 2014, Prof. Resutek was on the faculty at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. He received a PhD in accounting from the University of Texas. Before entering the PhD program, he worked in the corporate restructuring groups of PricewaterhouseCoopers and FTI Consulting, Inc. in Dallas, TX. His work experience focused on debtor-side Chapter 11 restructurings.
Professor Resutek's research examines how accounting information is interpreted by investors and how this interpretation affects stock price. His recent research examines the effect of earnings uncertainty on investor expectations and on the predictability of earnings.
