I received my Bachelors at Berry College in Rome, GA in 2016. My degree is in mathematics and chemistry, advised by Dr Ron Taylor and Dr Kevin Hoke. Afterwards, I studied low dimensional topology with Shea Vela-Vick and Oliver Dasbach at Louisiana State University, earning my PhD in 2022.
One of my primary interests outside the academic realm is swing dancing. While at Berry College, and thus having access to the Atlanta swing dance scene, I learned and danced Lindy Hop, Balboa, Charleston, and East Coast Swing. I am an avid reader; my current favorite series I have worked through is the Stormlight Archive by Brandon Sanderson. I am also a fan of table-top RPGs. I run a weekly game, which currently uses the Pathfinder 2nd Edition rule set. Other than my main hobbies, I like to dabble in many different things such as cooking, drawing, origami, and computer programming.
